Concealed & Removable Hinge with Retracting Pins

Description

Our Model 18 HI has been developed specifically for the needs of modern industrial enclosures, cabinets, HVAC, machinery, vehicles, and telecoms equipment.

This is classified as a concealed hinge. When a concealed hinge is installed it conceals the hinge from the exterior of the enclosure. This concealed installation benefits security and aesthetics, and limits exposing the hinge to the external environment.

The body of this hinge is manufactured from either Zinc alloy or Aluminium 6061. These materials are strong, durable, and lightweight, and guaranteed to provided many years of reliability.

The Model 18 HI features two retractable pins which join the hinge body and the hinge leaf. These retractable pins allow quick and easy removal of a door and provide improved access for maintenance. Each pin is secured in place with a spring which locks the pins in place.

We offer two types of mating hinge leafs (see diagram). 16894U is designed to be welded, while 16895Q is fixed with bolts or rivets. Both are made from zinc plated steel.
