Rencol’s new Model 10 IP Acetal & stainless steel spring plungers are innovative and versatile mechanical devices which will benefit machine, equipment, and furniture builders across a wide range of applications.
Spring plungers are most commonly used as detents; mechanical devices which act as a catch to prevent motion until released. More specifically, spring plungers are used to push-on and push-off a workpiece, as ejectors to push a workpiece out of a locked position, as rollers in conveyor equipment, and less commonly as a small, discrete catch for locking access panels and covers on control panels and electrical equipment.
Our new spring plungers are available in three configurations, all with stainless steel springs, and either a stainless steel body and ball, Acetal body and ball, or acetal body and stainless steel ball. Full specification can be found here.
