Thermoplastic Solid Control Handwheel

Description

The Model 01 HW is our most basic thermoplastic control handwheel. The combination of high impact resistant thermoplastic, zinc plated steel insert, plus the solid, non-spoked construction and lack of side handle make it strong, durable and easy to clean.

The inclusion of a side handle is generally dictated by ergonomics and available space. A solid control handwheel without a side handle is often specified where fewer rotations and finer adjustment is required. The addition of a side handle gives the option of cranking the wheel – this is useful where greater speed and force of rotation are desired.

Our solid control handwheels are suitable for an enormous range of industrial machinery and equipment, in a varied range of industries including manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical and oil & gas.

This wheel comes with an 8mm pilot bore and a maximum bore of between 16mm and 20mm.
